Circle
There are times when you kind of think of certain moments of your life and you’re just like, “Oh yeah, those were the days, man. Those were
the days.”
Friendship circle? Ah, that’s what I have. It’s a freaking
treasure to me, don’t get me wrong. Surely, there were bumps and flaws along
the way as we made our circle perfect, but anyway, here it is.
There are twelve of us (I hope the number will not decrease soon) and I can’t wait to, you know, list some things for each of them.
First, there’s Lev—the cool, sporty yet brainy one. Man,
this girl is one of a kind, I can say. She has been with me since. She opens up
to me, and it feels great to be the one hearing the secrets and feelings of the
school’s famous SSG officer slash *future*
MVP. She has a lot of life-goals and she really is dedicated. When I need her, I know she's just a phone call away.
Then there goes Gen—the well-known (Trust me, her iPhone has reached a lot of school people! Hahaha. No, seriously,
she has a lot of connections) sexy hotstuff who happened to be one of us. TBH,
she’s very conscious about her grades. She always says she doesn't want to be
in the first section next year, but she deserves it. She’s very funny and… err,
her laughter is very funny. That sound completely makes one’s day. She may not
be the best in times of emotional days, but when you need her, she’s there. Oh
and how can I forget that she’s the goddess of our group? *wink wink*
Third is Pat—the diva in glasses who is incredibly attached
to insulting people. Kidding. She’s the honest one. She always proves her point
and I never want to make an argument with her again. I always lose! LOL, she
has the beauty and brain (along with Gen because
I knew she’d protest) and she was there when I needed her. That wouldn't be the last, though.
There’s Abi—the one who we thought was very silent but then
we were wrong. She’s not into dramatic stuff. But at least I always get
the half of her Nutella sandwich on afternoon breaks! Hahaha, but really, if
you need that gal who was the reason for making our best day last 030814, she
never fails to arrive.
Insert Vem—the secret holder of everyone. She’s the keeper here. Ne’er tells your secret to anyone even if you threaten her to kill
Roland. HAHAHA. You see, she happened to like that guy so much that she makes
funny dance moves and faces whenever she sees him. She was there when I needed
somebody to cry on. Oh and I can never forget her smile. She was my sidekick
and I became hers, too when we wanted to hit on our crushes (don’t even deny!
Haha). I made a promise to never forget her, ever.
Sixth, there’s Diane—the tough girl who likes to be alone. I
cannot forget the day when she walked away crying because of the photocopy of
the paperwork that wasn't given to her. She’s been hurt and I know our love can
heal it away, can’t it? *wink* Oh and mind you, she’s an artistic, crazy fag! My
inbox on Facebook and my heart, yiee constantly contains her name
and I hope that doesn't end.
Then Fritzie—our beautiful horsey. She was with me since
kindergarten and we didn't drift apart. There were days when I thought of giving
our closeness up, but I know it’ll never happen. We shared too many memories to
give up. Heck, she’s one of the most patient people I know. She is always made
fun of, but she doesn't care well maybe except when we kept on saying “CECILLE”
all the time. In the end, I know it’s her shoulder I’ll be leaning on to.
After those seven girls, four guys slipped in our circle. It
all happened quickly.
Michael—the guy I never thought I’d hang out with. I mean, I
found him funny and all, but I just didn't think “she” would leave his side, so
yeah. I've seen his gentleness and girly stuff (LOL) and I know he’s in line
for a good future. He pleases a lot of girls, ahem, but he’ll always be THE Cabangon who can be way too funny
when he’s in the mood and way too scary when he’s mad.
Next is Sid—the corny one whose jokes don’t go all too well.
He’s with Mike, but he just doesn't pass the sense of humor Michael has. He
kept on playing along with his childish acts but he’s still a great friend and
a good person. He’s a gentleman and I know he’s going to know better things to
do someday.
Oh and Johnrick—the SSG officer who was always busy (I don’t
know if he still is going to be busy next S.Y.). Even if we’re not in good
terms right now, I’ll never forget how he played with my games and yet, him. He’s
responsible in some way (but he still gets late). Haha. He’s a funny, pleasing gentle guy and he can be caring when he wants to. I know a
good future awaits him. I just hope he doesn't try to be too nice to let girls trip
and fall over. *WINK*
Last is Clacio—the tangent who unexpectedly became part of
us. I’d like to call him “Patrick” but it just doesn't feel right. He’s the
only Clacio I know I would ever know anyway—the small guy who winked at me on
the seventh grade (HAHAHA). He’s a funny
being. He likes food, no, he loves food so much but he doesn’t get fat. *sigh*
I’m so jealous. He’s the boy (I wouldn't say guy) who had always accompanied me
to the lockers’ area and canteen! Hey, at least I get to open up to him about
drama and things. He’s a trustworthy person, I’m telling you. And he does have
feelings- he cried when he was teased about being gay before. LMAO. I swear if
he snobs me next year, I won’t stop bothering and teasing him about Pia.
Tough problems came like a tsunami to us way back. We were challenged
to stay together until the twelfth grade. And I say, why the hell not? I know this bond is too strong to be broken.
We didn’t have much time, but it’s the genuine joy we had that
matters. I’ll never forget each memory. This is not a good-bye. I just felt
like writing so yeah here it is. Besides, I’ll be out for the summer. I just
want to say all of these before the members of my circle leave for the sun.
If you belong to my circle, here I am, talking to you. I
love you, and I’ll always remember you. I'll see you sooner than later! 030814- Never forget.
