Rainbows & Skittles (An Introduction)
Sometimes in life, we ask questions about bad stuff and our
problems. Like, seriously, why can’t we just be happy if we know our lives are
going to end soon, too? So yeah, I decided to make this my happy journal (IRDK)
that will feature most of us, teenagers these days want. Relationships? Love?
Life? Friends? School? Social networking sites? Food? Come to think of it,
there are LOTS of adventures to experience, yet we don’t know how much time
left we have to do all.
In a blink, anything could happen. So why not risk life for rainbows and skittles in return?
Rainbows.
A rainbow indicates that the rain is over; a new beginning
is up-coming. A lot of people think that their lives are cursed in terms of
love, friendship, or anything. I say, why regret when it has been done? Why not
do something to make up for it? See, we
had a choice from the start. I don’t know if you've ever had a really big
negative issue about what’s going on in your life. If you currently have, well
don’t stress yourself out too much. Smell the daisies and get some fresh air.
You don’t need knowledge (well okay maybe you do need a little)—you need an inspiration to think and do what you have
to do.
Skittles.
Well, skittles, err, are skittles—sweet treats that no one
can dislike; goodness that people fight over (Believe me, I already did); tasty
rocks that help you calm down and be happy. Seriousness aside, happiness is
actually what keeps one going. Hell, if you’re not happy, you might as well say
bye and get lost. Hahaha. Remember that no one is born to get all miserable and
sad. Everyone deserves to be happy. I know you frequently hear that quote and
you’re probably sick of it (that is if you’re an emotional wreck), but it is
the truth.
These two make you forget your problems. It’s not literal
that you have to see a rainbow and eat a bucket of skittles, though. Be smart. Make
your own interests. Make your own joy. Make your own rainbows and skittles.
